Kurt Busch


2004 series champion … Won the first championship under the new Chase format … His 2004 title was the closest final championship margin in series history (eight points over Jimmie Johnson) … Posted 20 victories, 71 top fives, 136 top 10s and 10 poles … Has made the Chase with two different race teams – Roush-Fenway Racing and Penske Racing.

Jeff Gordon

His 2001 series championship was his fourth series crown … Finished in the top 10 in points every year of the decade except 2005 (11th) … Finished in the top five in points six times during this decade … Posted 33 victories, 145 top fives, 217 top 10s and 38 poles … Won the All-State 400 at the Brickyard (2001, 2004), the Daytona 500 (2005), Southern 500 (2002) and the Sprint All-Star Race (2001) … Has the third highest career Driver Rating (98.6) since the stats’ inception in 2005.
