Paul Menard won the 18th Annual Brickyard 400 presented by BigMachineRecords.com, his first victory in 167 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
Menard is the first driver to win his first career race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He is the fourth different first-time winner this season, the most since 2007.
This is his sixth top-10 finish in 2011.
This is his first top-10 finish in five races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Menard family has a long history at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but this is the first Indy win in a Menards-sponsored car. 
Jeff Gordon (second) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 18 races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  It is his ninth top-10 finish in 2011.
Regan Smith (third) posted his first top-10 finish in four races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
