Ryan Newman won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 15th Annual Sylvania 300
 with a lap of 28.213 seconds, 135.002 mph.
This is his 49th pole in 360 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
 He ties Bobby Isaac for ninth on the all-time series poles list.
This is his third pole and 13th top-10 start in 2011.
This is his series-leading sixth pole in 20 races at
 New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Newman also won the pole at 
New Hampshire in July, becoming the second driver to sweep the pole 
at the track (Ken Schrader, 1997).
Kasey Kahne (second) posted his 14th top-10 start of 2011 and
 his fifth in 16 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Brian Vickers (third) posted his third top-10 start at
 New Hampshire Motor Speedway. 
It is his eighth in 28 races this season.
