Tony Stewart won the Coors Light Pole Award for the
52nd Annual Bank of America 500 with a lap of 28.131 seconds, 191.959 mph.
This is his 13th pole in 459 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
This is his first pole and seventh top-10 start in 2011.
This is his first pole in 26 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Matt Kenseth (second) posted his 11th top-10 start of
2011 and his eighth in 25 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Carl Edwards (third) posted his fifth top-10 start at
Charlotte Motor Speedway.  It is his 20th in 31 races this season.
 Andy Lally (40th) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
