JOLIET,
Ill. — NASCAR fans hoping to catch Saturday night’s NASCAR XFINITY
Series race at Chicagoland Speedway will have to wait another day.
Heavy
rainfall arrived about an hour before Saturday’s scheduled start and
didn’t let up, forcing a postponement until 11 a.m. (CT) on Sunday.
Fox Sports 2 will televise the race live.
Improved
weather conditions are expected for the rescheduled fifth annual Owens
Corning AttiCat 300. Partly cloudy conditions and temperatures in the
lower 70s are forecast.
Austin
Dillon holds the pole position after narrowly edging Ross Kenseth for
the top spot during Saturday’s Coors Light Pole qualifying.
Chicagoland
officials said Saturday’s tickets will be accepted for Sunday’s race.
They’ll also be selling tickets. Parking lots are scheduled to open at 9
a.m. with entry at 10 a.m.
