Carl Edwards, #99 Aflac, Roush Fenway Racing He hasn't been consistently dominant at Bristol, but Edwards has picked up a pair of wins during the last 10 races at the track when he hasn't finished worse than 16th.
Kurt Busch, #22 Shell/Pennzoil, Penske Racing Busch a five-time winner at Bristol, he has still been consistent. He has finished in the top 15 in his last seven starts at the track and in the top 10 in three straight.
Ryan Newman, #39 U.S. Army, Stewart-Haas Racing Newman rolls into Bristol coming off back-to-back top-five finishes, and he has had a lot of success at the short track . finished seventh or better in four of his last five Bristol starts, compiling an 8.2 average finish during the stretch.
Greg Biffle, #16 3M, Roush Fenway Racing He has finished eighth or better in three straight starts at the track, and he has finished 12th or better in 13 of his 16 starts. The only thing he hasn't accomplished is a trip to Victory Lane.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr., #88 National Guard/Amp Energy, Hendrick Motorsports The suddenly resurgent Junior is looking for his third straight top-10 finish when the series heads to Bristol. He hasn't finished outside the top-20 at the track in his last 20 starts, and his 8.3 average finish at Bristol is the best in the series during that stretch
Matt Kenseth, #17 Crown Royal, Roush Fenway RacingKenseth has a pair of victories at Bristol, and his 9.9 average finish at the track during the past decade is the third-best in the series. He has finished in the top-10 in five of his last six starts at the bullring, including three straight.
Clint Bowyer, #33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper, Richard Childress Racing He has finished in the top-15 in six of his last eight starts at Bristol, including a pair of third-place efforts. Jimmie Johnson, #48 Lowe's, Hendrick Motorsports He is off to a slow start, but Johnson is the defending winner of this weekend's race. After struggling at the track for most of his career, he has finished eighth or better in three of his last four starts. In other words, his mediocre 16.1 average finish is a little misleading.
Marcos Ambrose, #9 Stanley Black & Decker, Richard Petty Motorsports after a top-five run at Vegas, Ambrose gets to return to his comfort zone at Bristol. Road courses and short tracks have been his specialty, and he has finishes of 10th and third in four career starts at Bristol.
