Jeremy Mayfield Arrested

Jeremy Mayfield, who has spent the last 30 months trying to clear his name after NASCAR suspended him for testing positive for methamphetamines, now will have to defend himself against the state of North Carolina after an arrest on methamphetamine charges Tuesday.

Members of four law enforcement agencies raided Mayfield’s home Tuesday looking for stolen goods, and according to police reports, they found stolen goods as well as 1.5 grams of methamphetamine and weapons
