Everyone by now knows NascarScene is closed with writers out of work and the magazine being merged.
What I don't see is the Media saying anything that positive about who's left. At times things must change ,yes there were good writers,reporters there, but were they actually writing what the fans wanted to hear.I know from personal experience growing up around racing all my life that in the last couple of years I 've heard from these standard bearers nothing but complaint on top of complaint on everything Nascar does.This is not what the fans want to hear .We look ,listen buy tickets for rave on our favorite drivers for good solid entertainment and we don't need or want negative stories about every little aspect when we want to know just about our racing.Case in point Mayfield vs Nascar as much racing news going around at the time every time you turned on your tv,or radio that's all you heard I got to be honest all the fans of Nascar I know couldve given a crap about it or Mayfield and just wanted Nascar to bury him and be done But that's all we heard People the times are changing in this fast paced entertainment venue and most all want to hear about the product not the "other" story
