Larson Continues To Impress In Freshman Season

NASCAR Drive for Diversity graduate Kyle Larson has been racing in and around California since he was seven years old. This weekend he heads to his home state for the first time behind the wheel of his No. 32 Turner Scott Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro. The Elk Grove, Calif., native is fresh off a second-place finish at Bristol, where he battled door-to-door with Kyle Busch for the victory. Larson is ninth in the standings after only his fourth Nationwide Series race.

 

Dominating Streak For Joe Gibbs Racing At Auto Club

Joe Gibbs Racing hopes to preserve its Auto Club Speedway domination this weekend. The organization has won an impressive eight straight Nationwide Series races dating to 2008. Tony Stewart kicked off the streak followed by multiple wins by both Kyle Busch and Joey Lagano. Joe Gibbs Racing has three cars entered in this weekend’s Royal Purple 300 with Kyle Busch, Brian Vickers and Elliott Sadler behind the wheel.
