Busch: Another Record Up for Grabs
With
his victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch became the
winningest NASCAR Nationwide Series driver at the track. He will once
again chase that record this weekend at Dover International Speedway.
Busch goes for his fourth win at the Monster Mile, snapping a tie with
Todd Bodine and Carl Edwards. Joe Gibbs Racing has won four of the last
six Nationwide races at Dover.
Autism Awareness Hits Home for Turner Scott Motorsports Crew Chief
Autism
Awareness is always in the forefront at Dover in advance of Sunday’s
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks. The
entitlement hits home for Trent Owens, crew chief for NASCAR Nationwide
Series championship contender Kyle Larson. Owens' five-year-old son,
Gray, suffers from Autism.
Smith Still Leads Standings; Dover Next Challenge
The
200-lap race at Dover could be championship standings leader Regan
Smith’s next big challenge. In six previous starts, Smith’s best finish
is a 16th place in 2003. He leads Sam Hornish Jr. by 28 points in the
standings followed by Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier and Brian Vickers.
